Mara Bunderson

Hello, I'm a junior from Sun Prairie, WI. I'm majoring in accounting with a certificate in Spanish and this year I'll be team president. I started riding about a year and a half ago when I joined the team, and it's been the absolute highlight of college for me. As the team president, I'm in charge of handling team business. Grace Sandretti

I'm a junior from Washington, DC and am at UW-Madison to study International Studies, specifically global security; and Political Science. As captain of the team, I am responsible for the well-being of each rider. It is my job to keep accountability of the team and support the riders and horses in any and every way that I can, outside or inside the ring.

I have been riding for as long as I can remember, and I've always had a deep love for horses. I believe that every moment that we have with horses, in and out of the saddle, is a blessing. Horses heal and I love sharing my love of this sport with others!

Hi! I'm a junior from Chapel Hill, NC studying Dairy Science and Life Sciences Communication. I've been riding for about two years and joined the Equestrian Team in the fall of 2021.

I’m a senior from Eagan, MN studying Computer Science and Music. I’ve been riding since I was 10 and joined the team in the fall of 2021!

Hi! I'm a senior from Sheboygan, WI double majoring in Life Sciences Communication and Social Welfare with certificates in Disability Rights & Services and Public Policy. I've been riding for about 13 years, and being able to ride competitively while I'm in college is a long-time dream come true! As Show Chair Secretary, I handle the bulk of the paperwork that comes with hosting our home show. I also ensure IHSA compliance of our show and handle things like coordinating an EMT and ordering ribbons & awards for riders.

Hi! I'm a senior from Hartland, WI majoring in Conservation Biology and Spanish with certificates in Public Policy and French. As a fundraising chair, I help find ways to boost our funding and spread awareness of the team! I've always loved animals--my aunt had horses and I did riding camps when I was little, and now I work for an equine therapy barn. I wish I could've found the equestrian team earlier in my time in college but I'm glad to get involved with the exec board!

Hi! I'm a senior from Ottawa, WI double majoring in Psychology and Social Welfare. I've been riding since I was a little girl and have shown hunter/jumper even before joining the team. I joined the team in spring of my sophomore year, and as a social chair I work with my partner to coordinate social events for team bonding!
